We’re looking for some talented writers, and passionate gamers. 100’s of other sites say that, too.

Games Are Evil is different, and worth joining forces with, and I’ll tell you why:

• In only a few weeks of existence, we’re averaging 1000 visitors a day.
• Our core staff are promotional monsters. We actively seek new readers every day, and so far our audience nearly doubles every week.
• Our Editor created a podcast network that generated over 1 million downloads, was covered in the New York Times, Wired Magazine, Business Week, and won a “Best of the web” award in 2006. This simply means we know the direction we’re headed in.
• We don’t dabble in rumor mongering: We’re about creating entertaining, original, and compelling content.
• We have an unquenchable thirst to become a driving force in video game journalism.

Not bad for a network that’s just over 2 months old.

We’re tooting our own horn because we believe in what we’re doing, and we’re not going away. Take a look around our site for proof that raising the quality bar, and writing stuff that matters is important to us.

Here’s the bottom line:

The amount of work we’ve collectively put in here, just in the last couple of months, is staggering. We’re covering a ton of content with just a few staff members. We’re not complaining: honestly, we’d like to cover more content. That’s where YOU come in. In order to continue growing, we need a larger and dedicated staff. We won’t make empty promises that volunteers will turn into paid writers overnight, but our goal is to maintain an awesome network, while driving towards profitability.
