Weekly Poll: Which current gen controller is most comfortable?

New Xbox at E3 Poll Results

Looks like 2013 will see a new Xbox

Funny how I posted this poll only to find out a day later that Microsoft has plans to unveil a new Xbox at E3 2013. Results from the poll last week show that this maybe decent timing as a majority of you feel that the current gen systems are just fine and we do not need a new system yet. However, be prepared to see a new crop of consoles hitting the market sooner rather than later.

I’m tapping into a debate that happened over Twitter a few days ago for the poll this week. In all fairness, this is a debate that existed ever since the PS3 and 360 both hit the market and it most likely won’t die even when new controller designs make their way to customers. The debate to which I refer is who has the most comfortable input device. Sony has, essentially, maintained their design for a decade with very little change outside of going wireless and adding in tilt sensitivity. Meanwhile, Microsoft started with one of the biggest controllers ever and then put it on a diet with the device we see today being the result of yet a third revision.

To be honest, I find both controllers just fine. The Sony offering tends to not cause trigger finger exhaustion thanks to the shoulder buttons not being so stiff, but I can spend an entire day gaming on either device and not have issues. Yet this is not about me, but rather what you find the most comfy to spend hours with. So who graces gamers hands with comfort? And no, the Wii is not an option here.
