Dead Space 2
A week has now passed since Dead Space 2 made it to store shelves and into gamers’ hands. The reviews have been relatively positive, and the game continues to scare people with great set-pieces. Yet this left us with one question: does your mom really hate Dead Space 2?
Let’s not forget that EA released one of the more controversial ad campaigns for this game. For those who may not have watched these, the ads showed a bunch of moms sitting around watching portions of the game. The moms were appalled and disgusted with what they saw. This was followed up with an announcer essentially spewing forth a bunch of stereotypes aimed at gamers. The ads left many folks upset with EA and this ad campaign.
Yet, a week later and the internet is still filled with gamers rocking mining gear and tearing apart baddies. So, what do you think of the game? Was it everything it was hyped to be?
