Isn’t this a blast from the past, it’s Back to the Future! The third Back to the Future movie came out 20 years ago, but then the Ghostbusters attempted a comeback last year with a video game. This Back to the Future game is getting Telltale treatment, the developers behind the Monkey Island series.
This game is set six months after the events of the third movie. The DeLorean has returned but without a driver! You must play as Marty and, you guessed it, go back in time and restore the timeline. Just like past Telltale titles, Back to the Future will be episodic and include 5 monthly episodes.
Releasing a game the week before Christmas isn’t always a great sign, but Telltale has had a good track record. Their humor should blend well with the Back to the Future series. Hopefully this means we’ll see an appearance from Doc in Poker Night at the Inventory.
