You know what I’m talking about. Every gamer has one. It’s that stack of games that you have and have either never started or never finished but want to…one day. We here at Games are Evil have our own stacks, and after beating everyone into admitting that yes, they actually do have stacks of shame, I present to all of you our glorious shameful stacks.
Since this grandiose adventure was my idea and I was the one who beat everyone here into submission, I will proudly display my stack first. And yes, I’m well aware that a couple of the games are shrink-wrapped.
Dave Horvath is so ashamed of his ginormous stack that he felt the need to include explanations of why he hasn’t finished any of them.

Uncharted – Lost interest in the “where do I go now” type of gameplay
Grand Theft Auto 4 – It’s a sandbox that doesn’t have enough toys to keep me interested
Ratchet and Clank: Tools of Destruction – Other games came out that stole my attention
LittleBigPlanet – Does anyone ever actually finish this one?
Batman Arkham Asylum – Don’t really know why I stopped playing
Soul Calibur IV – Because it’s boring(Xbox 360)
Dead Space – Just can’t get into it
Shaun White Snowboarding – Because it’s horrible and I can’t get anything for trade
Dragon Age – Got into an epic fight that had a lot of build-up, lost and didn’t have the energy to do it all again
Burnout Paradise – Can’t listen to that damn Guns and Roses song ONE MORE TIME!
Resident Evil 5 – Horribly unimpressed with it
Tekken 6 – Because they took out all initiative to play the game for more than an hour
Devil May Cry 4 – Felt broken
Mass Effect 2 – I’m on the final mission and I dont want anyone to die so if I don’t beat it, they won’t die
Street Fighter 4 – Because I suck too bad to play online, can’t unlock all the characters because of said suckage and no one in my friends list plays it anymore
Left 4 Dead 2 – Still haven’t beaten all the campaigns because my wife loves this game and wore me out on playing the first one over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over… you get the idea.
Borderlands – Progression seems slow unless you’re co-oping and no one plays it anymore in my friends list
Earth Defense Force 2017 – The cheese of this game only stays hip for so long
Fable II – I just stopped playing and can’t explain it
Final Fantasy XIII – Because I feel Square Enix has lost their gaming omnipotence.
Lost Odyssey – Disc 3 just got boring
BioShock – Couldn’t get into it
Fallout 3 – On the last mission and couldn’t bring myself to finish it even though I loved the game
Perfect Dark Zero – Launch title that felt just like a launch title.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance – Because its just that bad
Penny Arcade Episode 2 – Lost interest when the guys gave up on their 4 episode promise
Vigilante 8 XBLA – Not as fun as I remembered on the PS1(PSP)
Ys Seven – Too repetitive
Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core – Don’t really know why I stopped playing
God of War: Chains of Olympus – Had a game breaking bug
