Fans of the FPS juggernaut Halo have enjoyed most of Bungie’s games on the Xbox 360 system. Recent developments in the gaming industry’s employment sector shows that Bungie is in fact looking for a Software Development Engineer with dedicated experience directly related to the PlayStation 3. In fact, in the job description, it mentions that the platform their position will be covering is strictly PS3.
What does this mean for gamers? It’s hard to say. Will the world of Halo finally make its way over to the PlayStation 3 so fans of that system can revel in the madness that is Halo? It could possible mean an entirely new outlook for Bungie in delivering the quality of games that they’re known for to fans of Sony’s flagship system. Only time will tell what fruits can be garnered from such a relationship.
One thing is clear though, with open advertisement for a Software Development Engineer for the PlayStation 3 platform, Bungie is looking to capture the other side of the gaming market that their past relationship with Microsoft had all but too recently restricted them from accomplishing.
