StarCraft 2 aside, Summer tends to be a slow period for games. Luckily Microsoft is here to the rescue with the Summer of Arcade! This week’s highlighted release is the latest 2D Castlevania game from Konami.
Fans of the series will be pleased with this one. Up to six players can join together and run around the castles, finding and killing bosses before your time runs out. Unlike other Castlevania games where exploring the castle is a main focus, Harmony of Despair will allow you to zoom out and look around the entire castle. This will allow you to see upcoming traps or monsters.
Konami claims that there will be upcoming DLC support which will add new levels and characters. This could be an awesome addition to this storied franchise. If you aren’t into 2D side-scrollers then you can just relax and go back to playing StarCraft 2.
