God, I loved the 1990s....
Getting the band back together happens from time to time, and this occasion has to do with none otherthan the reunion of Soundgarden. Chris Cornell and company have delighted their fans by getting back together for a new album, but they have also found a way to please their Guitar Hero fans two-fold. This feat is to be accomplished by Soundgarden supplying their new single, Black Rain, as a part of the 90+ song set list to be featured in the newest chapter of the Guitar Hero series, Warriors of Rock.
Soundgarden’s first album in ten years will be Guitar Hero exclusive DLC content this September, as a part of the promised legendary content in Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Other bands in the line up include; Black Sabbath, Slipknot, Megadeth, KISS, and I would be lying if would not state how exciting it is for more Queen and Muse to find its way into players’ hands. Activision promises that this iteration of Guitar Hero will have the most unlockable content and rewards of any in their series.
Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock is scheduled for release on 9/28/2010.
