Coming this holiday season for all major platforms is James Bond 007: Blood Stone. The latest news from Activision on their upcoming title is the real world identity of their virtual Bond girl, recording superstar Joss Stone. Stone will be lending her vocal talents to the game in play as well as in the form of original music for the game (with an assist by Dave Stewart from the Eurythmics on the title track, “I’ll Take It All”). She will not be alone in her vocal talents, in game, as Daniel Craig and Judy Dench will be filling their respective roles as 007 and M respectively.
Written by screenwriter Bruce Feirstein, Blood Stone will be a third person adventure with players taking the familiar role of 007. The story line will concern a conspiracy taking the players into various locations like Athens, Monaco, and Bangkok. Gameplay will not just be fire fights, but will include driving sequences as well as hand to hand combat. Xbox 360, PS3 and PC players will get to experience “strategic objective-based multiplayer game modes as well.
