Time to swing for the fences again on your Wii. Konami’s Cages: Pro Style Batting Practice is now in stores for you to make like the pros and knock the cover off the ball with your Wiimote. This series of mini-games puts the player in the cage to face different pitches thrown by a virtual pitching machine — 19 different pitches to be precise. To take the experience to another level, Cages is compatible with the Wii Motion Plus for an even more authentic batting clinic. The game also allows for the player to input stance, height and weight to really simulate a batting experience. In addition, the game will track how many calories you are burning while swinging away.
Cages will assist the player by showing them where they are hitting on the ball with side and top down views. Up to 4 players can compete and have their own home run derbies.
