Make way for the crazy train because there is sure to be no rest for the wicked following the announcement today by Harmonix and Mtv. The Godfather of Heavy Metal, Ozzy Osbourne is landing on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii by way of a 6-pack DLC via the Rock Band Online Music Store on June 15th.
“It’s great to bring my songs to Rock Band, especially material from the new album, Scream. I hope Rock Band players around the world are ready to have their living rooms invaded by me!” was rumored to be heard coming from the mouth of the legendary rocker, but GrE have been unable to confirm that what he said was anything more than a mumble and random stuttering. Either way you look at it, Ozzy joins the over 400 exclusive artists to grace Rock Band; allowing plastic guitar toting fans to rock out to their favorite musicians.
The 6-pack of songs available for download include:
- Crazy Babies from the album The Ozzman Cometh
- Diggin’ Me Down from the album Scream
- I Don’t Wanna Stop from the album Black Rain
- Let Me Hear You Scream from the album Scream
- <No More Tears from the album No More Tears
- Soul Sucker from the album Scream
All tracks are original master recordings and available in North America on June 15th. Europe will have to wait until June 16th to partake in the download.
