What better way to showcase the wonder and awe of E3 than to showcase some tantalizing games to look forward to. Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment wishes to get gamers back into Middle Earth on a whole different level. Lord of the Rings: War in the North, developed by Snowblind Studios throws fans directly into a war torn Middle Earth battling trolls and other vicious enemies as they take the role of an elf, human or dwarf on the Xbox 360, PS3 or PC.
Lord of the Rings: War in the North will try and set a new standard in the Action/RPG genre by allowing players to co-op in their games and form their own Fellowships to battle the evil forces of Mordor. Three players can play simultaneously in interdependent cooperative gameplay as they siege through never before seen story, lands as well as some familiar areas from the books themselves. Playing through the game will reward the player with extensive character customization, upgradable skills and weapons and unique special abilities.
More information will be released during E3 this year but for now, feast your eyes on some of the eye candy provided to us.
