Walmart decided that it needed to take on the likes of Amazon in the online games retail business. Gamecenter is Walmart’s foray into this electronic sales front.
So what can Walmart offer up that Amazon, or Gamestop for that matter, can’t? How do bonus content, e-credit, cheap ass shipping, and mullets sound? Currently the best deal is a $50 e-credit when you pre-order three games from a predefined list of their choosing. You cannot mix and match platform to get this deal either. It’s all or nothing here. This is not to bad though as their list contains the likes of Fallout: New Vegas, Crackdown 2, Dead Rising 2, and many more.
The biggest question we have is will Walmart require you to install a netcam so one particular site can post photos of the online shopper? We are also sorry to report that you won’t be getting new underoos with your electronic purchase. You may commence crying now.
