After two successful feature films, a classic cartoon and numerous different morphing actions figures, you would have to be living under a rock not to know who the Transformers are. At this point the real question isn’t “who are they”, but rather, “where did they come from?” In a new trailer from Activision and High Moon Studios, several key members of the development team discuss how their new game, Transformers: War for Cybertron, tells the formerly untouched origin story of this unique race of interstellar bad asses.
On top of all of the video goodness, we were also privy to some new character screenshots. The trio of newly revealed mechanical monstrosities include the Autobots Sideswipe and Jetfire, along with the Decepticon Thundercracker. Take a look below for a bevy of vehicular based mayhem. Just don’t get too close, I hear they tend to be a smidgen destructive once things come to blows.
