EA And Insomniac Games Join Forces

Today marks the day that EA (you know Tiger Woods, Madden, FIFA, NHL) has joined up with Insomniac games (Ratchet & Clank, Spyro the Dracon, Resistance) in a publishing deal.  This means all of Insomniac’s games will now go crossplatform.  This is the first time in Insomniac’s 16-year history that they will be pushing games on more than one system.

Ted Price, founder and CEO of Insomniac games, went on to say:

We are excited and eager to introduce Insomniac to a new group of gamers while reinforcing to our loyal fans what makes our games special.

What does this mean for gamers down the road?  Could the rumored Resistence 3 make it’s way over to the 360 now?  Maybe we will see a Ratchet And Clank: Battle of the Red Ring title for the 360.  We are eager to see what happens of the partnership.
