2K Games has announced their plans to use Steam for a version of Civilization V. The Steam version will come in a Digital Deluxe edition that is only available on the Steam Platform.
Regardless if you love or hate Steam, this is good news on the DRM front. Steam is much less intrusive than other forms of DRM. We thank you 2K Games for pushing Civilization V over to Steam. Now, will you make it so we can play it on Mac and PC alike??
