We want to take a quick moment to congratulate Atlus on brutally beating the living crap out of gamers. Atlus had only expected to sell a mere 75,000 copies of Demon’s Souls. Atlus was slightly wrong in this estimate. Demon’s Souls has sold more than 280,000 copies as of the close of February.
280,000 gamers being brutally punished by a game almost worthy of the title “Nintendo Hard”. Other numbers include 100,010 broken TV’s, 71,203 broken controllers in frustration, 55,440 Demon’s Souls disks being turned into drink coaster by inferiorated gamers, and 10 PS3s being chucked out the window due to gamers falling off a cliff while trying to avoid a monster.
Congrats to Atlus for making such a spectacular game and making some bank on it. We appreciate your work.
Yes, we did make up all the Other numbers, but we are sure someone somewhere has broken a controller in frustration.
