Happy Monday, geeks and gamers alike! The first day of the week means it is time for another Lexi’s List! Tables, MP3 players, and garden decorations, oh my! Let’s get DOWN!
First up…. a LEGO Boardroom table!
This epic table was created for Boys and Girls, an ad agency, by abgc Architects. It required 22,742 Legos and many hours of work to create such a brilliant piece of furniture. Be sure to click the picture and watch the stop motion video of the table creation process – 8,000 photos condensed into 2 minutes!
Next on the List….an NES controller/cartridge MP3 Player/Speaker combo!
Some may consider this reconstruction of gaming history a complete blasphemy. Others may instead find it to be a creative DIY project. Next up…a Mario-Inspired Piranha Plant!
An amazing piece of work by artist Kalapusa, this plant is crafted with a wire skeleton and a special mix of acrylics to get the flesh appearing just right. This would definitely keep those pesky kids and neighbors off your lawn! He also crafted a baby version as well. According to his Flickr stream, it will soon be available on eBay!
Last and certainly not least….The Plumbers Wardrobe t-shirt!
