Ace Frehley, Carrie Underwood, and Little Fish… for One Night Only. Ok, so its likely not a concert that’s coming to your local arena. But if you own Rock Band for the PS3, Wii, or Xbox 360, its totally possible. Along with punk pioneers X and One Republic, this eclectic mix will soon be available for download from the Rock Band Music Store.
According to Harmonix and MTV Games there are currently over 400 artists and more than 1100 songs available to bang your head to. Underwood’s “All-American Girl”, X’s “Blue Spark”, and “Am I Crazy” by Little Fish will also be available as LEGO Rock Band tracks. After successful opening slots for acts such as Hole, Alice in Chains and Eagles Of Death Metal, Little Fish is headlining their own UK tour in March in support of Baffled & Beat, when they also open for Them Crooked Vultures at the Royal Albert Hall.
The new tracks will be available as “X Pack 01” for the Xbox 360 and PS3. You can also buy them individually for those systems, and for the Wii. Xbox 360 and Wii gamers can get their hands on the new downloadable content on March 23. Those on the PlayStation 3 platform will need to wait until March 25.
