“So Blonde: Back to the Island” Getting Ready for Swimsuit Season

Sunny Blonde, the teen deb who got her start in the PC outing So Blond, is headed out on another cruise.  This time the So Blond franchise will be cruising the Caribbean on both the Wii and Nintendo DS.  As with the previous outing Sunny finds herself stranded on a desert island wondering what has happened to her parents, the crew, and her curling iron.

The folks at Lace Mamba say that the backstory is pretty similar to Steve Ince’s PC adventure game.  But this time out the island is decidedly darker.  Ince has returned to guide our intrepid teen on her curious journey.  Players will need to travel with Sunny as she explores the jungles and peaks of the Forgotten Island where she is stranded.

Some of the incidents happening on the island are the same as in the PC version – but this time, Steve Ince drives the story into a completely new direction. Other islanders are coming to the fore and are taking over the lead roles in So Blonde for Wii and Nintendo DS.  Both version’s controls have been adapted to fit the Wii Remote, Nunchuk and Nintendo DS Stylus easily. Lace Mamba says that, for gamers, the point & click control scheme will feel as it’s meant to be. The party mini games included in So Blonde should also benefit from Nintendo’s intuitive control systems.

Look for So Blonde: Back to the Island to wash up on gaming shelves this summer.
