Today LucasArts and TT Games broke wind that they would base the next adorable Star Wars game on the mega-successful Cartoon Network CGI show, The Clone Wars. Considering this is much better source material than the abysmal LEGO Indiana Jones 2, it still leaves us in the dark as to what plots will be parodied/ enjoyed will be as the series is now over 20 hours long. But as many fans old and new will attest, Star Wars: The Clone Wars has proven to be vastly more entertaining than the last 3 films combined and the LEGO treatment will be nothing but a smile from ear to ear, especially with level builder ready to go. If only we could have a vehicle builder too- I mean…who doesn’t want to build a Mandalorian luxury train?

LEGO® Star Wars III: The Clone Wars will include all the characters from both seasons of the hugely popular animated television series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as some fan-favorite characters from the beloved theatrical Star Wars Saga. The game will feature brand new battle modes, giving players unique, head-to-head combat and an upgraded level builder, allowing the creation of customized bases and in-game battlefields. Play either as a Jedi or Separatist with all-new character abilities, such as Squad command, Lightsaber slicing, Lightsaber jumps, long distance Jedi attacks and Grapple Tie-Ups, all within a new, easy-to-navigate hub.
