DLC Set to Debut for Dark Void Next Week

Dark Void’s first piece of downloadable content comes in the form of the ever present third person shooter ‘horde mode.’ Pitting players against groups of enemies across ten levels of increasing difficulty seems par for the course, but Dark Void’s flying mechanic should help differentiate it from the loads of other games that follow this formula. Coming on February 10th on the Xbox 360 and the 11th on the PS3, the new DLC will be available for 5 bucks on both platforms.

While some gamers would be excited about this new DLC, I am actually more hyped about getting the soundtrack from the game. Being that the soundtrack was composed by Bear McCreary, the composer behind the soundtrack of Battlestar Galactica, my expectations are rather high for this release. Along with over 80 minutes of the fully orchestrated score from the game, the 8 bit remix of the Theme from Dark Void, featured in Dark Void Zero (The Downloadable neo-retro game for the Nintendo DSi), is also included. Look for the soundtrack to hit store shelves and digital download services on February 9th.
