The industry rumour mill is always running wild especially on quiet news days. This time around, a brief glance over the portfolio of one of DICE’s lighting artists by Joystiq revealed that he may be part of a team working on Mirror’s Edge 2 and Battlefield 3 amongst other things.
A brief visit to the artist in question’s portfolio now reveals nothing. In the 2009-present entry where the evidence first appeared, ‘Mirror’s Edge 2 and Battlefield 3′ have now been replaced with ‘nothing to see here’.
Deliberate leak or accidental slip? Either way it’s got the gaming community eager for more info on the sequel to DICE’s sumptuous groundbreaking free-running FPS. Keep watching this space.
