The countdown has started to the launch of Project Natal. Microsoft has let slip some details of Natal’s launch including the date, price and amount of units available during a tour of developers to drum up more support for the peripheral.
Here’s the key points:
- Natal will launch worldwide in November 2o10.
- It will cost around £50 on its own but there will be a variety of bundles available.
- There will be a total 5 million units available at launch.
- There will be 14 titles available at launch.
Most of the big publishers have signed up to produce titles for the device including Activision, Bethesda, Capcom, Disney, EA, Konami, MTV, Namco Bandai, Sega, Square Enix, THQ and Ubisoft. After causing such a stir at this year’s E3 all eyes are on how Natal will perform at launch. Forget this Christmas, next year will be the one to watch.
