I agree with previous posters. The reviewer reviewed a game he hasn’t really played.

I am a PES fan. I loved every single installment of PES, both on Xbox and PS. I have only tried PES2009 on PS, and I thought it was still pretty good.

I also play Fifa often. I tried all Fifas. The last one I owned was Fifa 99. Since then I played Fifa at friend’s houses. Fifa is not a simulator but a good looking arcade. Interestingly, coming from PES, I always humiliate my Fifa friends when playing Fifa. The only reason I play Fifa nowadays is that some friends refuse to play PES. If it were not because I always win, I would find the Fifa experience horribly boring. Fifa 2010 is as easy as the previous version.

Back to PES … I have tried PES2010 on Xbox, and I must say it is the FIRST edition I dislike … profoundly. First PES edition that feels like a bad arcade … can’t mark properly, my players just hover around the opponents like flies, only gaining possession of the ball by chance.

All the greatly improved tricks with the analog stick are worth nothing if the basics don’t work.

I don’t know what happened.

PES2010 is terrible. Terribly bad.

I can't understand why you people think PES is arcadey and FIFA more realistic.. c'mon guys do you really love football? want to know why most people prefer FIFA than PES? its just a simple factor.. 1. license, 2. FIFA more simple 3.FIFA more easier 4. This is most important things: they're not a football addict, or they're newbie in a football world..

Don't judge me with "have u play FIFA? it more great! more difficult! more realistic! bla..bla..bla.." why? cuz i have play FIFA every series (from 1996 until now) and always compare it to PES (i play from the first series). And as always, the result is FIFA always loose everything except for license.. truth is "FIFA chase PES on all aspects except lisence" and "PES chase FIFA just for lisence competition, cuz they won the other thing"

Trust me, think carefully, try it hardly.. and if u wanna play your favourite teams more realistic, PES the only one can give you that.

At least properly play the master league m8 as you will see the vast improvements to it like youth teams , awards ceremonys, player values , and team individuality . Also champions league and Europa league deserve a mention, cmon.

This review is a joke. Not because of it’s outcome, but purely due to the fact that the reviewer has no idea about the game, and has oblviously hardly played it or researched it. Read the following:

“Team Style lets players change their strategy on the fly with the simple press of a trigger and face button.”

THIS HAS ALWAYS BEEN IN PRO EVO. It is NOT teamstlye, teamstyle is a completely different new slider based tactics option. How can people like this be allowed to review a game if they take such little effot into doing so? It’s disgusting.

it’s actually unbelievable, I am shocked a games reviewer can have teh ordasity top review a game and not even know about its features – or worse get them mixed up and then pass judgment.

Yeah the fight for your mom maybe. Dude no-ones saying this is better than Fifa but how much it's better than last year's PES. As for fake teams – that's always been the case. You go into PES knowing it ain't got the license and just play it for the game. Anyways, I liked the review so whatever.
