XBLA: Weekly Releases September 23rd, 2009

You’ll be feeling spoiled today as we see not one, not two, but three brand new games hit the Xbox Live Arcade. There is a twin-stick space shooter in ION Assault, a chance to kick ass and take names in The Warriors: Street Brawl, and a chance to further enhance your zombie killing skills in Zombie Apocalypse. ION Assault is a twin-stick shooter in a similar mould to Geometry Wars, offering single and co-operative action over 20 action packed levels. In The Warriors: Street Brawl, based on the 1979 cult classic, you have to fight your way home to Coney Island in a Streets of Rage style beat ‘em up. Zombie Apocalypse lets your hone your killing skills for the inevitable real life zombie invasion in this twin-stick shooter that features 50 levels and 10 different weapons.
