The Witcher 2 Internal Gameplay Trailer Leaked

4 Comments 18 September 2009 | Tags: , , ,

2Fans of the role playing genre on PC are no doubt familiar with the 2007 release, The Witcher.  Praised for its innovative storyline and dynamic decision engine, the it went on to sell over a million copies worldwide.  CD Projeckt, the developer of the game, was originally working on porting the game over to console, when development abruptly came to a screeching halt in early 2009.

There were murmurs of potentially running out of money to work on the game might have been at fault, but some believed that the team had instead shifted over to making a whole new game.  Well if the video below has anything to say about it, I am going to go out on a limb and say they are now working on a sequel.

Notice all of the sidebars saying that the video is for internal use only?  If you make it that obvious that you don’t want the public to see something, odds are that in this age of technology and the internet, they will get it much sooner than you intended.  Fortunately for all of those involved with the project, the game already looks great!  Crazier yet, the trailer says that this is only an ALPHA build.  I can’t wait to see what it will look like when they finish it.

Are you interested in a second dose of Witcher action?
