Operation Flashpoint isn’t just any old shooter. It’s a tactical shooter in the very strictest sense. Even now, original Xbox gamers speak reverently in lowered tones when referring to this masterpiece. So it’s understandable, that its sequel, the cumbersomely-titled Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising is one of the big releases of October 2009. Actually, scratch that – 2009 period.
Now, Codemasters are giving fans the chance to win two unlockable missions and an exclusive map of Skira, the island on which the conflict is set.
Fans can practice their multi-tasking, analytical thinking and memory skills to see if they’ve got what it takes to survive the intensity of modern combat found in Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising.
All recruits will receive the aforementioned downloadable map of Skira for their participation, and the elite few scoring highly will receive bonus codes to unlock two fireteam engagement missions, titled Debris Field and Encampment.
