The latest RPG from Deep Silver, Risen, is ready for it’s worldwide release on Friday, October 2nd. There is also an Xbox 360 version of Risen which will be released in Europe on Friday. Sadly, North American 360 gamers will have to wait until next year to play the game.
Risen is being developed by Gothic developers Pirahna Bytes and includes some top British voice acting talent such as Andy Serkis and John Rhys Davis of Lord of the Rings fame. The game is set on a medieval period, volcanic, Mediterranean island offers a fully seamless interactive world, four playable characters and multiple ways to develop the story throughout the game based on your own actions. It also features music by gothic metal band Nightwish.
