Codemasters have just released the latest Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising trailer which demonstrates the four player co-op mode.
It’s certainly looking fantastic. The co-op mode aims to be a little more tactical than the usual FPS affair with the host of the game assuming the role of fire team leader and the other three players choosing a role such as medic, engineer, rifleman or anti-tank specialist. The game’s host then is the sole player who can issue commands to the other teammates. This role system will also be implemented when driving a vehicle for example.
It looks like Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising will be at its best when played during co-op, so gather up three friends and get watching the trailer now ready for the game’s launch in October.
