\Where the Wild Things Are is one of the most celebrated children’s books ever by Maurice Sendak. Spike Jonze is adapting it to screen for moviegoers, and it is releasing on October 16 this year. In a strange way, adapting the movie adapted from a book into a video game is a big chance. But if Griptonite can pull from the book and movie and create a game that carries the same wonder and amazement, Where the Wild Things Are as a video game could be something great.
The game will go beyond the movie, expanding the world, and allow players to experience the mystery of the island while trying to save the Wild Things. The action platformer could be a great family game when it releases this fall for PlayStation 3, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, and Xbox 360.
