Tecmo has been attached to Team Ninja for quite some time with the Dead or Alive series and Ninja Gaiden. It’s a nice change to see Tecmo releasing something different. Family Fun Football will release for the Nintendo Wii on September 29, 2009.
Family Fun Football is an arcade style casual sports game. Gamers can choose one of the game’s included characters or unlock a mode to import gamer’s Mii into the game. The game features the ability to coach teams with the Wii Remote choosing offensive or defensive plays.
Some of the game’s features are:
Simple Playbook: a coaching playbook that teaches players the game of football.
Power-Ups: power-ups during gameplay to enhance attributes.
Quickplay: Choose 2 teams and start playing immediately.
Season: a 9 game season.
Tournament: play though a double elimination tournament.
Mascot Mode: play as the team mascot
Mii Compatibility: gamers can load their Mii and play against other Mii’s.
