When The Beatles: Rock Band was first announced, there was a lot of apprehension over the idea of the strictly The Beatles-based game. With Harmonix behind the scenes however, most of the concern was washed away during E3 2009. Seeing the game in motion with Harmonix developers and watching other fellow gamers jump behind the instruments really showed that both MTV Games and Harmonix were taking this version of Rock Band more seriously than any before it.
The Beatles: Rock Band is releasing on 9/9/09 and now the marketing behind the game has started. A new commercial has just been released taking the ever so iconic Abbey Road cover photograph and making into a commercial for the new game. The only way this was possible was the technology that exists today, but in a lot of ways, this commercial is a little disturbing to watch.
