As you can see in the picture to the left here, Nintendo sent us a quick email to let us know that they were going to beat the crap out of us, using Punch-Out’s legendary Doc Louis. Wait, wait, no.
They really wanted to tell us what was gonna be available for the Gold and Platinum members of their Club Nintendo rewards program. Gold-level members will receive a 2010 Nintendo calendar, while Platinum-level members will have their choice of either a replica Mario hat or a WiiWare game that builds upon the fun and excitement of the retail version of Punch-Out!! for the Wii console by letting players fight as Little Mac in a one-on-one bout against his legendary trainer, Doc Louis. In fact, the WiiWare game won’t require Punch-Out itself to be able to play it. It’s WIN-WIN, babies!
These rewards are designed exclusively for Gold and Platinum Club Nintendo members and will not be made available to the general public. Members can make their choice any time before Aug. 11, and the rewards will be available this coming fall.
Club Nintendo lets consumers earn Coins for registering and answering surveys about Nintendo products. Coins can then be redeemed for exclusive Nintendo merchandise. If you want more information about how to join Club Nintendo and earn rewards, visit http://club.nintendo.com.
