When I first saw Batman: Arkham Asylum in the form of a screenshot, I was a little hesitant about the possibility of a “good” Batman title. After watching a few videos of the game in action, my anticipation rose a lot. Then after E3 2009 and watching people play the game and seeing the deep combat system along with the awesome graphics, I must play this game.
Batman: Arkham Asylum appears to be what the franchise needs on video game consoles much like what Christopher Nolan did for the aging movie franchise. Featuring the voices of Kevin Conroy, famed voice actor of Batman: The Animated Series, and Mark Hamill, voice actor of the Joker; Rocksteady has already cemented their dedication to the series by bringing the recognizable voices into their title.

Straight from Eidos and Warner Bros. Entertainment, a new video of Inside the Asylum has been released. Featuring interviews with Game Director Sefton Hill, Lead Narrative Designer Paul Crocker, and Paul Dini, writer of Batman: The Animated Series and writer for this new title; this new Batman game from Rocksteady looks to bring Batman into the current console generation with the themes and action that Batman deserves.

Batman: Arkham Asylum will be released August 25, 2009 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC worldwide.
