Army of Two was my first rental for PlayStation 3. Even though I didn’t have a HDTV at the time, the game still impressed with the graphics and gameplay. Unfortunately, that very gameplay that I enjoyed so much in the beginning ultimately pissed me off into not completing the game with my AI partner being a gigantic idiot and never covering me when I really needed it.
Thankfully, it looks like Army of Two: 40th Day is going to correct all the flaws the first game contained and up the ante with more urban combat. The trailer contains all in-game graphics and looks amazing. With time until the Winter release date, that allows more time for polish and nit-picking all the details so the game can look and play the way it was meant to be and not follow in the footsteps of the first game.
Army of Two: 40th Day is releasing for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Portable. No mention of the PSP Go, but we shall see.
