The San Diego Comic-Con has quickly become the place for comics, movies, and videos games to premier new products and titles. In recent years, the movie industry has taken the SDCC to be one of the most important places to debut movies garnered towards the “geek” demographic. Sneak previews of films have often been the gauge to whether it will do well in its wide release.
The video game industry is now following a similar path by demoing titles and announcing new news during the event. Like E3 and GDC, not everything happens during the actual event; many previews happen behind closed doors with great secrecy. Activision has chosen to debut their new title, Chaotic: Shadow Warriors, during the San Diego Comic-Con.
Based on the collectible card game, Chaotic: Shadow Warriors will bring the card game out of its two-dimensional existence into full polygonal glory on the Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Along with a single player mode, there will be an obvious multiplayer mode for the title, which will hopefully run through Xbox Live and PlayStation Network.

If you’re lucky enough to attend SDCC this year, head to Chaotic’s booth #3449. The game will be on display for demonstration for attendees. If you’re like me and stuck at home, take a look at the trailer below.
