The Conduit: “Trust” Your firearms

Some people say that a man is only as good the tools he uses. If that is true then “The Trust,” the resisting faction in the upcoming Wii game “The Conduit,” is VERY good. Being Evil people here at GrE means we take special interest in special weaponry, therefore we couldn’t help but start drooling when we got a load of these weapon stats and descriptions. The Trust has a weapon that fires two pairs of plasma bolts that interact, and another that can “cook a target from the inside out.” If that isn’t awesome, I don’t know what is.  The Conduit is hitting the Wii in a big way on June 23rd.

Deatomizer Mk4

This semi-automatic rifle is one of the standard issues weapons of the Trust organization. It fires bolts of high-energy plasma that disrupt the atomic structure of organic targets. It also has an electronic scope of equal power to that found on the SCAR. Charged, the weapon fires two pairs of plasma bolts; the first bolt of a pair to strike becomes an anchor for the second which then circles until it hits something, resulting in a harmonic explosion of tremendous power. This is useful for shooting targets hiding behind cover.

Another standard issue weapon of the Trust; this fully-automatic rifle primes and fires the actual power cells that other Trust weaponry uses for ammunition, resulting in small scale plasma detonations. However, given that these power cells are both explosive and arc when launched, this weapon is best at medium ranges.

Carbonizer Mk16

This is the Trust’s heavy weapon; it fires a stream of high-energy plasma that literally “cooks” a target from the inside out. It also builds up a residual charge within a target the longer the beam is held on it; once the beam is interrupted, this residual charge lashes out at other enemies nearby.
