Dammit Game of the Week: Karoshi Suicide Salaryman

karoshiDisclaimer: I’m not promoting suicide in any way, shape, or form. This is just a game (You know, like the ones that you play committing mass genocide…) and a fun one at that.

In most games, the object is to stay alive and kick the boss’ ass at the end. That gets boring after a while right? Once frustration sets in, there are time, when you just want to take that little sprite and impale him on the pointy spikes down below.

Karoshi (Japanese for “death from overwork”) Suicide Salaryman, lets you live out that fantasy. In fact, you MUST DIE in order to win. Messed up, isn’t it? The Karoshi series is created by Jesse Venbrux. Yes, series… There are both flash and download versions of the game, so you can die without being connected to the net. Once again… Thank you ArmorGames!

If you haven’t figured out the whole premise of the game by now, you really should be put in a corner with one of those pointy dunce hats. You NEED to kill yourself, any way possible.  In each level you use your surroundings to impale and crush yourself to victory. It is a puzzle game, so it’s not always as simple as jumping/falling onto a bed of spikes. Sometimes, you’ll actually have to think (gasp!).

There are 50 levels (and a boss fight) for you to enjoy… Along with the other games in the series. So have fun killing yourself.
