max-payne-06 After many fans got their hands on the great news that Max Payne was indeed coming to Xbox LIVE Originals, they had their dreams crushed beneath the mighty foot of Microsoft. Both Max Payne and Max Payne 2 were taken off the list of downloadable originals the same day, within minutes of posting for sale.

Turns out, they just weren’t ready for release yet. According to Major Nelson’s blog, both Max Payne and Max Payne 2 are now available for download at a whopping 1200 points each. Took them long enough to get these two gems up for sale. Who’s ready to bring the Payne?

Woo! Love the second… the first is good but I much prefer number two.

Would buy had I not completed about 4 times.
