Little Big Planet Reaches Two Million Users

littlebigplanet_worldThe ridiculously addictive, Little Big Plant, has reached yet another milestone today by reaching 2 million users online since its launch in November of 2008. Little Big Planet allows players to build their own levels and share them with the world via PlayStation Network with only one restriction, your imagination.

Nearing 750,000 levels, each one of them is unique, thought up and created by the very people who play the game. Many of these levels are inspired by television programs, movies, music, and even other video games but these are only a few genres that you will find in the near endless user created level area.  Since launching the game has registered more than 125 million plays online with players leaving over 4 million comments on user created levels, many of them begging for a sequel to their favorites.

If you haven’t already, I highly recommend picking up this gem for your PS3, with downloadable content allowing you to make your sackboy look like characters from your favorite PS3 titles such as MetalGearSolid and Street Fighter 4 as well as extra decorations to make your own levels themed toward those same titles, this is one of the few must haves for your PlayStation 3, but before uploading any of your very own user created content, please make sure that it doesn’t play like a 4 year old with no hands and half an eye created it… if I download and play one more of these kinds of levels, im going to go postal!
