The sexual innuendos return, and this time they’ll be ready for all of the Xboxers out there. For those of you who may not know Leisure Suit Larry, he’s an average joe looking to get laid.. for love, in all the wrong places. Sexy time is sure to ensue!
This time around Leisure Suit Larry is laden with illustrious voice talent that is sure to provide laughs. Jay Mohr of the Simpsons, Family Guy, West Wing and Scrubs, lends his voice to Larry Loveage. While Carmen Electra (Starsky & Hutch/ hot piece of ass) will lend her beautiful voice to Ginger Vitus. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing when I read his name. Who the hell is that? But now you recognize him, and know that Jay Mohr will be hilarious throughout this game. Anyone else play older versions on PC?
Of course you all know who Carmen Electra is, and for those of you who were under a rock for the past ten years, she was the center of my wet dreams growing up. Which appropriately places her here in Leisure Suit Larry, where the goal is to “do” her.
This time around Larry will be spending his vacation working on his uncle’s film studio as he tries to make a name for himself in Tinseltown. However, while working on the movie lot, Larry stumbles upon a plot from a rival company, threatening to air the studio’s dirty laundry in the tabloids. Now it’s up to Larry to save the day, and the reputation of his uncle’s studio.
Codemasters promises, “Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust will feature saucy comedy and bombshell babes as players tackle exploration, platforming, racing and puzzle-solving challenges to complete missions. The series’ trademark humor is in full effect as Larry’s new adventure takes him through parodies of Hollywood’s most famous studio sets. Whether he’s sneaking around on the ‘Bytanic’ or gun-slingning on ‘Beefcake Mountain’, Larry’s always got an eye out for the ladies.”
Looks like gamers everywhere will be trying to get laid, or if you prefer “looking for love”, later this month as Leisure Suit Larry: Box Office Bust is set to launch March 27th.
UPDATE: It looks like this will be making its way to the PS3 as well, unfortunately the release date is still TBA. So far it sounds like Fall of 2009.
