Greetings readers! This is the first full week here at Games Are Evil for all of the writers over at A Random Gamer. We will be continuing our weekly columns here for all of you loyal readers! As always, my Monday column will focus on the biggest game released that week. Well, the biggest game according to me.
That being said, my debut article is for a Leisure Suit Larry game. Well, not every week is a winner. Larry Lovage is returning from Magna Cum Laude for the first Leisure Suit Larry game playable in high definition. It is being released this Tuesday for the Xbox 360 and PC. Unlike in the previous game, however, Box Office Bust will contain no nudity. That’s right, this is a Leisure Suit Larry game without nudity. This is probably because the last game wasn’t sold in several countries due to censorship laws. This time however, the game won’t be bought in any countries.
Perhaps that is a little harsh. Unlike Magna Cum Laude, this game won’t just be a collection of mini-games. It is once again an adventure game where Larry pursues a bunch of busty babes who are way out of his league, one of whom is voiced by Carmen Electra. There also aren’t a lot of competing comedy games, either. The script was written by Allen Covert (Grandma’s Boy) so I am sure the game will be a lot of laughs…
Still, I wouldn’t put a lot of hope in a game being released at $29.99. Actually, PC gamers get to keep their usual ten dollar price cut and grab it for $19.99. PS3 gamers are going to have to wait until May, which will give them the chance to read the reviews and decide to watch the American Pie series instead.
