Hey guys.. Forgot to add this.. But here's the MySpace page for Videogames Live http://www.myspace.com/videogameslive enjoy!

  2. You both were right. Killzone 2 came out Febuary 27th. It only had 2 days to register sales with NPD. Also I wonder if those days being Friday and Saturday had anything to do with its sales. Do people buy as many games over the weekend when they have other options for entertainment? Plus, most games come out on Tuesday, so the exception could ahve confused people.

  3. CrAppleton says:

Yeah.. that's true.. On the same token though. I don't usually go to midnight releases unless they're on the weekend. So you would think that pre-orders of the game alone (for as hyped as it was) would have been greater. Either way 300k in only two days is great for KZ2, but it still leaves a bad taste in your mouth when other games that are as hyped as KZ2 was sell almost 1million in pre-orders alone.

Great show as usual.Your latest news of Sony charging 3rd parties for the DLC publishing rights shows me that the number one threat to the PS3 is Sony and a new chink in their once shiny exterior.Gameloft being one of the premier devs in the mobile market, this news of their recent success comes at no surprise.Love me some Oregon Trail.KZ2, a victim of its own hype?Sony released this game too late in month. They failed to capitalize on the hype generated by their loyal fanbase, thus reducing the games overall relevance to its closest FPS/TPS brethren.I’m also hearing word that the single player should be avoided at all costs and MP is where the game shines. The sales should be better next month for the game but it has some serious competition waiting in the wings.RE5;Chinatown Wars and Pokemon Platinum come to mind.I’ll wait and see if this game (KZ2) has “legs” or it will fall hard on its face.
