As you’ve all heard by now, the bad ass-ness that is Metallica will be heating up a console near you very soon with Guitar Hero: Metallica. Gamers out there who are itching to get the first taste, need not wait any longer. Activision announced that the demo is now available for free download on Xbox LIVE Marketplace.
Though we’d like to see more, the songs available on the demo include Metallica’s “Sad But True” and “Seek and Destroy,” as well as “No Excuses” from Alice In Chains and “Stone Cold Crazy” from Queen, both hand picked by Metallica as featured guest acts in the game. Players will get to begin honing their skills in the new “in-the-round” stage designs, as well as viewing custom camera angles of their rockers thrashing.
Game modes included are Quickplay, head-to-head, Face-Off, Pro Face-off and Battle. Activision did not skimp out on the features of the demo that’s for sure. So if you’ve been looking forward to rocking out with Metallica, hit your Marketplace and grab this one while it’s still hot.
