PC gamers will feel most let down by today’s announcement that two of the years most anticipated titles, The Sims 3 and Dragon Age: Origins, will miss their fiscal year 2009 (ending March 31) launch dates. The Godfather 2 has also been delayed. Why EA have taken such measures is as yet unknown.
In a press release distributed earlier today EA confirmed that The Sims 3, previously scheduled for a February 20 launch, is now pencilled in for a June 2 release. The Godfather 2′s original date of February 24 has been pushed back to sometime beyond March 31. Dragon Age: Origins, previously slated for an ‘early 2009′ launch on PC, will now be released alongside its console counterparts sometime during the latter half of this year.
