SEGA issued news last Summer that a follow up to Sonic and the Secret Rings is in the works. Sonic and the Black Knight is coming exclusively to the Wii this Spring. “After the success of Sonic and the Secret Rings we’re delighted to announce a second title in the Storybook Series,” said Gary Knight, European Marketing Director, SEGA Europe, “Following Sonic on his way to knighthood will excite players of all ages.”
Players will guide the sword wielding hedgehog through an Arthurian world using the Wii’s unique control system. Sonic and the Black Knight will reunite fans with a great cast of characters and take players through a variety of adventurous missions. A new game trailer was released this week and I have to say, Sonic and the Black Knight looks incredibly immersive and fast paced.
