Snowblind Studios joins WB Family

Snowblind Studios, developers of Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Justice League Hereos, has been acquired by Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.

In a statement Kevin Tsujihara, President of Warner Bros., said “”This is a good fit for Warner Bros. and Snowblind Studios. The arrangement broadens our portfolio with quality games and provides Snowblind with access to our global distribution and publishing capabilities. Snowblind has a great reputation and we are pleased to welcome them into the Warner Bros. family.”

Snowblind join a roster of talent including LEGO series developers Traveller’s Tales (TT Games) and FEAR 2′s Monolith. “We look forward to working as a part of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment on creating several distinctive games with wide appeal,” said Snowblind Studios head Ryan Geithman. “Our team is committed at every level to making the best gaming experience possible for our audiences.”

Snowblind are currently developing Death Tank, for XBLA.
