DICE announced today that their roof running, first-person, action adventure Mirror’s Edge has released DLC on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC!
For those of you who have already run through the story mode, you’ve come to find that the best replay-ability comes from the Time Trial mode, and now you’ll get even more bang for your buck. Jump online and download SEVEN all-new and totally redesigned Time Trial maps! As stated on the EA press sheet; “No guns, no cops, and no city: this is true aesthetics, agility and flow that will challenge any runner.” Players can pick this up for 800 MS points which comes to about ten bucks for PlayStation users, however PS3 gamers will be able to pick up one extra map for FREE.
Those who aren’t familiar with Time Trial, it’s a mode in Mirror’s Edge that challenges players to find the fastest route across various maps. Players can upload their best time to the Mirror’s Edge leaderboards for their friends to download and compete against. Not only will your friends see your time, they’ll also see your ‘ghost’ runner while they race their way through the course.
