worldofgoobuildingWorld of Goo is a PC and WiiWare game that, when released late last year, captured the hearts and minds of both critics and gamers alike.  Everything from its amazing aesthetic to its challenging gameplay kept people coming back, game after game.

Another area where people raved about World of Goo was in the sound and music design.  The music had an immersive, almost addictive quality to it.  I had a friend say to me that he had to stop playing it for a while because the music was embedding itself into his brain.  For days he would walk around with the tune stuck in his head, forever regretting booting the game up.  But like the animal that never learns, when the tunes subsided, he ventured back into the World of Goo, only to start this vicious cycle all over again.

I told you that long useless story to lead into the fact that the creator of World of Goo is giving the entire soundtrack away from FREE!  You can download the content off of Kyle Gaybler’s personal portfolio at http://kylegabler.com/WorldOfGooSoundtrack/.

Enjoy!

This game is creepy in the sense that we bought it at the store, and we were not expecting to see other peoples progress on there. Also the part with the Mom answering questions is scary.
